Team Leader Bending Roeselare

As Team Leader Bending at JONCKHEERE subcontracting, you are in charge of our part fabrication team. Bending operators can come to you with any questions and you ensure adherence to quality and priorities.

A look at your job responsibilities:

You will be responsible for training, coaching and providing technical support to a team of production workers specialised in bending operations.
You will ensure a continuous supply of work orders and parts to the workstations.
You will keep a close eye on use of the correct materials and working methods. If indicated, you will pass on suggestions for improvement to the workshop manager and product engineer.
You will help to prepare and set up new workpieces and provide instructions to ensure serial production quality.
You will act as part of a three-person team, allocating work according to the schedule and motivating your colleagues in their work.
You will actively look out for opportunities to improve profitability, work more efficiently and ensure that all work is carried out safely and in compliance (5S + safety).

Who are we looking for?

You have experience in a managerial or executive role within a production environment or are a motivated school leaver eager to learn all the tricks of the trade. Many of our team leaders began as production workers.
Your knowledge of bending is extensive. Additional knowledge of cutting, sheet metal warehouse management or offline bending programming is preferred.
You have the ability to identify and solve problems.
You have an eye for detail and care about quality.
You have excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple tasks at once.
