Steel blasting
Shot blasting is a machining technique in which the surface of metal is cleaned with steel shot to thoroughly prepare the metals for further treatments. The steel shot is blown against the surface at high speeds, effectively removing rust, dirt and old paint. This process can be performed in a blasting tunnel (for narrow, elongated pieces) and also in a blasting drum, where blasting and deburring are performed in one operation.
